MagicBus Tours is an Edmonton local ski tour operator taking skiers and boarders to Marmot Basin in Jasper, every single weekend! We are the only day trip operator in Edmonton, meaning you can ski a full day at Marmot and be home the same night. Of course many of our patrons choose to make a full weekend of ski memories and stay at one of the many beautiful properties we offer in Jasper. As part of our mission to excite and inspire the adventurous spirit, we also offer weekender packages: 2 day, 2 night excursion to world renowned ski destinations.
All of our tours are non-smoking, non-drinking, use a luxury motorcoach and are accompanied by a professional tour Director. It’s YOUR ski adventure, without the hassles of driving or waiting in lift lines.
Our second specialty (yes we have two) is our group tours. We offer both Corporate and School packages that are fully customized to best suit your groups needs.
Initially the idea was to ski with a group of friends by assembling a high quality package of good value. It wasn’t long before the phone was ringing regularly asking about the “next” trip. Clearly the new approach to corporate tours was popular and so MagicBus Tours Ltd. was incorporated in November of 1992.
Alberta schools have long made alpine sports a part of the curriculum. MagicBus delivered a new approach that made planning and delivering exciting adventures easy, affordable and most of all, safe. Soon, schools from all over Alberta were including MagicBus as part of their annual offering to their students.
MagicBus Tours had become a “best kept secret” in Alberta for group ski tours. Meanwhile, the need to assist individual travelers had become obvious. Edmonton was calling for a dependable, regularly scheduled day service to the Rockies. The MagicBus to Marmot was born! Soon, thousands of individual skiers were enjoying day and overnight stays where all the planning and most importantly, the driving hassle of winter roads was handled on The MagicBus. Now, over 4000 skiers annually visit Marmot Basin via “The MagicBus”.
