COVID-19 Update:

The MagicBus team and our suppliers are continuing to make every effort to ensure that we can get you out on your next adventure, while keeping everyone safe. We adjusted our safety procedures to align with Alberta Health Services guidelines as things progress. Please visit this page regularly for the most recent updates.

• As of February 11, 2022, ALL passengers riding our Daybus service will NO longer be required to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccinations to ride MagicBus Tours. Alberta’s Provincial mask mandate was lifted March 1, 2022 but dictated that public transportation must continue to have mandatory masking. As MagicBus trips fall under this category, guests are still required to wear a face covering while on our buses. Medical exemptions will not be recognized. You can find more details on mask recommendations on the Government of Alberta website.
• Patrons unable/unwilling to wear a mask, will not be permitted to board the bus. Thank you for your understanding and doing your part to keep everyone safe!
• Please note that our MagicBus Weekender trips that travel to BC will have to follow the BC Health Guidelines which may be different than Alberta Health guidelines. Please see the specific MagicBus Weekender specific trip pages for further details.

Additional Safety Protocols

• The MagicBus will run at a lessened capacity with a 48 person load limit.
• Waivers will be filled out electronically prior to departure to reduce contact.
• Seating will be reserved by guests upon loading the bus. A reserved seating sign will be given to each passenger to hold their seat while not present. Place it in the pocket on the back of the seat in front of yours. Each guest will use the same seat for the duration of the trip. For solo riders, there will be 6 spots to sit alone. These are first come first seated. For overnight riders returning to Edmonton, seats will be reserved for you on the way home.
• Guests will be allowed to remove their mask for a maximum of 15 minutes after a food stop. Guests are encouraged to eat in the restaurant or outside, if at all possible. Only guests who have not finished eating are permitted to have their masks off while on the motorcoach. Masks are to be put back on as soon as guests are finished eating.
• Common touchpoints will be wiped with sanitizer each time all customers get off the bus (stops longer than 30 minutes).
• Coaches are equipped with high end HVAC systems that filter the air and help remove pathogens.
• Washrooms on the coaches will be available with hand sanitizer.
• Hand sanitizer will be available at check-in and as you board the coach.

These procedures are in place until further notice and are subject to change.

Marmot Basin Protocols

Marmot Basin will NO longer be participating in the Alberta Restriction Exemptions Program (REP) for their indoor spaces. Marmot Basin has lifted their mask mandate. However, it’s up to your discretion if you chose to continue to wear a mask while at Marmot Basin. MagicBus highly recommends you read up on the ski area protocols for your trip’s destination to make sure you are aware of current regulations.
